Wirefab, Inc enters the 21st century as the northeastern United States’ premier, employee-owned speciality wire fabrication operation.

Wirefab incorporated in 1955 has grown and matured in to a leading manufacturer of quality industrial and commercial wire products.

Founder Asbed B. Zakarian nurtured the company from its beginning in a small loft to a very reputable supplier by the mid 70’s particularly within the booming electronics industry in Massachusetts. Wirefab became a principle supplier of wire component parts to the likes of Digital, IBM and Wang and was often called upon to assist in their design and development activities. It was this valuable experience that established our reputation as a customer service oriented company doing close tolerance quality work of which we are so proud today.

With the shrinkage of computer/printer industry in the Northeast during the late 80’s Wirefab vigorously sought out new markets, but tragedy struck in October 1987 when 60% of manufacturing facility was destroyed by the fire. Thirty five loyal and dedicated employees worked through harsh conditions for months to maintain a production schedule without loss of a single key customer. By the may of 88 Wirefab was back on track with a “new” 60,000 facility and a marketing plan to attract new business in untapped areas.
